Happy Monday, everyone! I realized that I haven’t done any favorites post in such a long time, simply because I don’t usually try out new products. However, today I have some of my current favorites – from product that helps heal my stubborn acne quickly to SPF on-the-go. I sincerely enjoy these products so much that I can’t wait to share with you guys.

Smile’s PRID Drawing Salve
– Healing and Shrinking Stubborn Acne
Smile’s PRID Drawing Salve is a life-saver, especially whenever I have those stubborn, disgusting and painful cysts. I put the salve on the acne and cover it with a small piece of medical tape. I have experienced the acne shrank quickly and even disappeared overnight. Smile’s PRID Drawing Salve contains active ingredients that can ease pain and swelling (Arnica Montana), heal eruptions (Silicea) and release abscesses aka the white pus (Hepar Sulphur). Smile’s PRID Drawing Salve does have a strong smell but that doesn’t bother me much.
Silicone Makeup Sponge
Silicone Makeup Sponge took Instagram, Youtube and Pinterest by storm for quite some time. At first, it seemed to be a little bit gimmicky. I was skeptical. But recently, I decided to give it a try. And boy, I LOVE it! It performs exactly as my normal makeup sponges except that the silicone makeup sponge is extremely easy to clean and maintain. After every use, I simply rinse it off with soap and water. I don’t have to worry about bacteria staying in my sponge. The best part is that I don’t need to keep replacing and repurchasing makeup sponges – saving money! I got mine from Yesstyle but you can purchase yours on Amazon for a great price.
Daiso Makeup Sponge
Another great but inexpensive makeup sponge I want to share with you. This is a knock-off version of the famous beauty blender. Now, I never own a beauty blender so I can’t compare them two. But I’ve tried plenty of the other beauty blender imitations. I have to say, this makeup sponge from Daiso, by far, is my favorite. It is soft and bouncy. It applies foundation and concealor beautifully. Plus, for only $1.50, nothing can beat that. If you see these at your local Daiso, definitely give it a try.
Privacy UV Face Powder SPF 50+ PA++++
It’s recommended that we have to reapply sunscreen after a certain amount of time. But on top of the makeup…how?! I’m sure you beauty lovers can relate to the struggle.
I’m so happy that I discover this Privacy SPF face power. The product comes in a translucent lose powder form and acts exactly like any lose setting powder. It’s very lightweight and, on top of that, it doesn’t clog pores and cause acne. This Privacy SPF face powder has become a stable in my makeup bag as I bring it with me everywhere. After a few hours, I touch up my makeup using this powder. It eliminates the shine on my face and keeps my face protected from the sun. Win-win!
Covergirl Total Tease Waterproof Mascara, Very Black
My readers know how much I love the CoverGirl Total Tease Mascara. I can’t rave enough about it. In fact, I did a whole in-depth review on this mascara here. Check it out and you’ll understand why I love it so so much. In short, the CoverGirl Total Tease mascara is, by far, the best mascara I’ve known for short and straight Asian lashes. You’ll see the instant difference. Read my review to see the demonstration.
There you have it – my current favorites. Don’t forget to leave a comment below and tell me about your current favorite products! I’m so curious to know 😀
Good luck,

I’ve always wanted to try SPF powders, but I can’t seem to find one from where I am. Best beauty innovation so far, IMO.

I agree! I love the SPF powder so much, especially in the summer. I can reapply it on top of my makeup and always keep my face protected.
