5 Favorite Fall Lip Colors

“Summer’s over” is definitely a sad news. But the good news is: it’s time to take out those fall lip colors that we’ve been pushing aside in our lipstick drawer. Although I normally love wearing natural pinkish or orange lip colors, every time fall comes around, I’m a hundred percent in the mood for some dark and bold lip hues. They simply reminds me of the chilly fall weather and go very well with fall sweater and leather clothes. In this post, I’ll show you my 5 top favorite fall lip colors that I’ll be rocking this fall.

Let’s start!

Fall Lip Colors 2017. Wearable Fall Lip Colors. Must-have Fall Lip Colors

1. NYX Butter Lipstick in Lifeguard:

NYX is one of my all-time favorite brands when it comes to lip products as I own so many different lippies from them. NYX Butter Lipstick has a unique texture that glides smoothly on your lips. The name gives it all; the lipstick feels like butter. Lifeguard is a classic deep red which is every pigmented. The shade goes well with anything and everything. It lasts a very long time but doesn’t stain. Lifeguard is a buildable shade, meaning the color goes on light for a wearable, natural look but can be built up to a strong and bold color.

2. Trestique Lip Crayon in Belize Bordeaux

I had never heard about Trestique until I received their Lip Crayon in one of my Ipsy Glam Bag. And I’m glad that I did because I totally fell in love with their lippie. Trestique Lip Crayon is so creamy and lightweight. I don’t feel like I’m wearing anything on my lips when I use it. Belize Bordeaux is a unique light berry purple color with a hint of pink. The color reminds me of the tri-berry (strawberry, blackberry and raspberry) smoothie. I love pairing Belize Bordeaux with a natural and simple eye makeup to give all the focus to the lip color.

3. Trust Fund Beauty Lipgasm in K, Bye

Okay, I lied. Maybe I didn’t wait until fall to take out K, Bye. I use it all year around ’cause the color is so pretty and the formula is very easy on the lips. Trust Fund Beauty Lipgasm is a liquid lipstick that doesn’t completely dry out matte. There is a sheer gloss to it. While being very moisturizing, the lipstick stays put on the lips and won’t bleed. If you want to try out liquid lipstick but not sure about the dryness, I highly recommend Lipgasm liquid lipstick. K, Bye is a brownish dusty rose color. It’s a MLBB (my lips but better) shade that I really love.

4. NYX Whipped Lip and Cheek Souffle in Cocoa Bean

Told you NYX lippies are some of my favorites! Here comes another one from NYX. The texture is almost mousse-like, think about whipped cream but little bit thicker. It’s so easy to apply, pigmented and long-lasting. I have to mention that the smell is heavenly. You have to try this product. My pick for fall is the shade Cocoa Bean, a nude brown color that goes very well with my skin tone. Cocoa Bean is my go-to when I want something a little bit grungy but not too much.

5. Wet ‘n’ Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick in Give Me Mocha

A warm cup of mocha latte plus a cozy knitted sweater, #fallvibe, right? This is my recent discovery. I’ve owned other shades in this line but I’ve just recently purchased Give Me Mocha. It is a beautiful nude brown color, so trendy that everyone is talking about it all over Youtube. Give Me Mocha is suitable for any skin tone. The liquid lipstick dries down completely matte but it’s still a bit sticky, which I think helps preventing dryness. I really don’t mind this. Note that, since the lipstick is matte, it does settle in the fine lines and can exaggerate dry patches. I’d recommend exfoliate your lips before putting on this lippie.

Do you see a theme here? My picks for fall lip colors are mostly dark, brownish and berry shades. What about you? What are your favorite lip colors for this sweater weather? Maybe you can give me some new recommendations.
